Little Lime Hydrangea is a compact panicle hydrangea that delivers the colorful flower display of Limelight Hydrangea in a much smaller shrub. Large, cone-shaped blooms open lime green in summer, gradually turn creamy white, and develop pink to burgundy tones as fall approaches. Its sturdy stems help hold the flowers upright, even after summer rain. Little Lime is a great choice for foundation plantings, flowering borders, low hedges, mass plantings, containers, and smaller gardens where a full-sized panicle hydrangea would be too large.

Notes
Little Lime Hydrangea blooms on new wood, so it can be pruned in late winter or early spring before fresh growth begins. Plant it in full sun for the strongest stems and best flowering, although afternoon shade can be helpful during hot Southern summers. Keep the soil evenly moist, especially during the first growing season and during extended periods of heat or drought. Its sturdy stems and long-lasting blooms make it an excellent choice for fresh bouquets and dried arrangements.
