Vanilla Strawberry Hydrangea is a showy panicle hydrangea known for its large, cone-shaped flower clusters and dramatic color changes. The blooms open creamy white in midsummer, gradually turn pink, and deepen to a rich strawberry red as the season progresses. Because new flowers continue to appear while older blooms change color, the shrub can display white, pink, and red flowers at the same time. Its upright red stems and long-lasting blooms make it an excellent choice for specimen plantings, flowering hedges, mixed borders, and cut-flower gardens.

Notes
Vanilla Strawberry Hydrangea blooms on new wood, so it can be pruned in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. Plant it in well-drained soil and provide consistent moisture, especially during hot or dry weather. In hotter Southern climates, some afternoon shade can help protect the flowers and foliage. Its large blooms are excellent for fresh arrangements and dried floral displays.
