Gatsby Pink Oakleaf Hydrangea is a large, eye-catching native shrub with white, cone-shaped flowers that gradually deepen to rich pink as they mature. Notes
Gatsby Pink blooms on old wood, so avoid pruning it in late winter or early spring. Prune only after flowering and remove as little growth as necessary to preserve next year’s flower buds. Its bloom color isn’t affected by soil pH. In hot Southern gardens, morning sun with some afternoon shade helps protect the foliage and flowers from intense heat. Allow plenty of room for this large shrub to reach its natural size.
