Pinky Winky Hydrangea is a hardy panicle hydrangea known for its large, cone-shaped flowers and striking two-tone color. The blooms open white in midsummer and gradually turn deep pink from the bottom upward while the flower tips remain white. Strong, upright stems help support the large flower clusters, making Pinky Winky® an excellent choice for flowering hedges, mixed borders, foundation plantings and specimen displays.

Notes
Pinky Winky blooms on new wood, so prune it in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. Removing roughly one-third of the previous season’s growth can encourage sturdy stems and larger flowers. Its bloom color isn’t affected by soil pH. In hot Southern gardens, provide regular moisture and some afternoon shade to reduce heat stress. The long-lasting blooms are also useful in fresh and dried flower arrangements.
