Limelight Prime Hydrangea is an improved, more compact version of the original Limelight Hydrangea. Its large flower clusters emerge bright lime green before developing rich pink and reddish tones as cooler fall weather arrives. Stronger stems help hold the heavy blooms upright, while its dark green foliage creates an attractive backdrop throughout the growing season. Limelight Prime® also begins blooming earlier than the original Limelight, making it an excellent choice for foundation beds, flowering hedges, mixed borders and specimen plantings.

Notes
Limelight Prime blooms on new wood, so prune it in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. It can be reduced by roughly one-third to encourage strong new stems and maintain a neat shape. Although panicle hydrangeas tolerate more sun than most hydrangeas, afternoon shade and regular moisture can be helpful during hot Georgia summers. Its flowers also work well for fresh and dried arrangements.
