Sweet Starlight Hydrangea is a compact panicle hydrangea with bright white flower clusters that gradually age through light pink to deep antique pink. Its sturdy stems hold the large blooms upright instead of allowing them to flop open. Growing about 4 feet tall, it fits nicely beneath windows and works well in foundation beds, low hedges, borders, mass plantings and large containers.

Notes
Sweet Starlight blooms on new wood, so any shaping or pruning should be completed in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. Little pruning is generally required because of its naturally compact habit. Plant it in full sun for the strongest flowering, but some afternoon shade can be helpful during hot Georgia summers. Water regularly while the plant becomes established and during extended periods of heat or drought.
