Endless Summer Hydrangea is a reblooming bigleaf hydrangea prized for its large, rounded flower clusters and exceptionally long blooming season. Depending on the soil’s pH, its flowers may appear blue, purple, or pink. Unlike many traditional bigleaf hydrangeas, Endless Summer can bloom on both old stems and the current season’s new growth, giving it the ability to produce flowers repeatedly from summer into fall. Its rounded shape and manageable size make it a beautiful choice for foundation plantings, flowering hedges, mixed borders, woodland edges, and large containers.

Notes
Endless Summer Hydrangea blooms on both old and new wood, so heavy pruning should be avoided. In early spring, remove only dead or damaged stems after new growth begins to appear. Its flower color is influenced by soil pH: acidic soil generally produces blue flowers, while alkaline soil produces pink flowers. Plant it where it receives morning sunlight and protection from intense afternoon heat, especially in Southern gardens. Keep the soil consistently moist, but don’t allow it to remain waterlogged. Removing faded flower heads can encourage additional blooms.
