Quick Fire Fab Hydrangea is an early-blooming panicle hydrangea with large, full flower clusters held upright on strong stems. The flowers begin creamy green to white, then gradually develop blush-pink, bright-pink and watermelon-red coloring from the bottom upward. Because it blooms earlier than most panicle hydrangeas, it provides a long season of color lasting through summer and into fall. Its large size makes it an excellent choice for flowering hedges, privacy screens, mixed borders and specimen plantings.

Notes
Quick Fire Fab blooms on new wood, so prune it in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. Cutting the previous season’s branches back by about one-third can encourage strong stems and large flowers. Its bloom color isn’t affected by soil pH. Provide regular moisture and afternoon shade during especially hot Southern summers. The long-lasting flowers are excellent for fresh bouquets and dried arrangements.
